CSA-EUR Career Days is sponsored by RCNY, biggest Chinese New Year celebration in the Netherlands. Stichting China Festivals Rotterdam, the founding behind the celebrations, strives to preserve and propagate the Chinese culture and the Chinese New Year celebration in Rotterdam and the Netherlands.

On February 10th 2024, we welcome the year of the Dragon. To celebrate, many activities will take place all across the city during the two weeks of Chinese New Year. Different places across Rotterdam celebrate the Chinese New Year with special activities, for example De Doelen, Wereldmuseum, Maritiem Museum and De Markthal have their own program. The big street celebrations will take place on February 17th and 18th. During these days, the streets of Rotterdam will be filled with lion and dragon dances, traditional Chinese performances, cultural workshops, a market, fireworks and many more activities. The celebrations on Saturday February 17th will take place in the West-Kruiskade. On Sunday February 18th, Katendrecht is the place to visit for a day full of workshops, cultural activities, lion dances, dragon dances and fireworks.

Most of the RCNY activities are free of charge, there will be activities for both adults and children. Everybody is welcome to come and celebrate the Year of the Dragon!
